First, I select the core colours — these are considered your must-haves and best sellers. They will stay consistent and be available in every style, often repeating throughout multiple ranges/seasons.
Then, I select the accent colours — these are your fashion, on trend or wow factor colourways. They will change every collection and may only be available in a couple of styles within a range. They give your collection a unique, fun flare and are a great way to set your brand apart.
It’s important to have a mixture of both in order to create balance and appeal to a wider audience!
